But the mission behind it? That’s not going anywhere.
We built Tailorie on a belief: that discovery should feel personal, not performative. That people deserve better than being treated like data points. That small brands creative, brave, underfunded, and often overlooked, deserve a real chance to be found, loved, and shared.
And maybe, just maybe, there was a way to rewrite the rules of marketing to prioritize trust over noise.
We weren’t trying to win the game.
We were trying to change it.
✨ And in some ways we did.
We introduced thousands of people to brands they’d never seen before, not because those brands had massive ad budgets or viral content, but because they had something better: a good product, a real story, and a founder who gave a damn.
Together with our community, we built something rare.
Discovery that didn’t feel like scrolling.
Gifting that wasn’t transactional.
Moments of genuine curiosity in a world obsessed with conversions.

But vision alone doesn’t keep a business alive.
And we refused to build something hollow just to say we were still here. We refused to compromise the mission for the sake of metrics. We refused to let the system reshape us when we set out to reshape it.
So here’s where we are.
The Tailorie app is officially closed.
But the idea behind it? That lives on.
Because what we stood for still matters…
People over pixels.
Trust over clicks.
Discovery over distraction.

Tailorie may be gone from the App Store, but we’ll still be showing up, just a little differently. You’ll still find us here on the blog and on our Instagram, sharing new and emerging brands we believe are worth discovering.
In the meantime, here’s what we’ll leave you with:
Keep choosing curiosity over convenience.
Keep championing the brands that lead with meaning, not just marketing. Keep demanding better, from what you buy and from the platforms that decide what you see.

✨ And if you believed in what we were building, thank you. You weren’t just part of our story. You were the proof that it mattered.
We’ll see you again.
Just not on the Tailorie app.
With Gratitude,
Brianne & Team Tailorie
